A law firm in Cincinnati is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in various aspects of trademark law, including clearance, prosecution, counseling, licensing, and enforcement. The ideal candidate should demonstrate expertise in domestic and global portfolio management.Job Duties:Conduct trademark clearance searches and provide opinions on trademark availability.Handle trademark prosecution, including drafting and filing trademark applications.Provide counseling to clients on trademark matters, including trademark selection, registration, and enforcement strategies.Negotiate and draft trademark licensing agreements.Assist with trademark enforcement actions, including cease and desist letters, oppositions, and cancellations.Manage trademark portfolios for domestic and international clients.Stay updated on changes in trademark laws and regulations.Requirements:Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of practice.4-6 years of experience in trademark law.Strong academic credentials.Excellent writing and communication skills.Skills:Expertise in trademark clearance, prosecution, counseling, licensing, and enforcement.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in work.Negotiation and drafting skills for licensing agreements.Knowledge of domestic and international trademark laws and regulations.
