Our team of attorneys specializes in various areas of law, including real estate, immigration, civil litigation, and foreclosure. There is an immediate opening for a full-time real estate assistant/paralegal position.​​Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Real Estate Paralegal at Diaz Case Law located in Berwyn, IL. The Real Estate Paralegal will be responsible for conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, assisting with due diligence, handling title insurance matters, and supporting commercial real estate transactions.​​Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Initial contact with potential new clients;File maintenance from beginning to end of the case;Client contact;Work with other paralegals and attorneys to complete projects and coordinate real estate closings;Create and maintain spreadsheets using Excel;Use case management software daily to catalog documents, client information, and track important dates according to real estate closings or court.Make copies, file and send documents to clients via US Mail, private courier and/or E-mail; andSchedule meetings/closings and properly notify all parties.​​QualificationsExperience in legal document preparation, real estate contracts and title insurance.Strong attention to detailExcellent organizational and multitasking skillsEffective written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExperience in real estate law is a plusProficiency in Spanish is a plus​​Salary depends on experience.
