The Marketing team spans many aspects of the business and includes roles in graphic design, social media, and public relations, to name a few. Since the roles with this department are varied, so are the people—in the best way. This team is laser focused on bringing the brand to life through rich storytelling, and they work together to accomplish this across multiple media channels and platforms.About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Copywriter to join our Editorial Team as a creative thought partner, compelling copywriter and inspiring people manager. Reporting to the Senior Editorial Director.What you’ll do:

Concept and create stories for multiple projects at once, from brand moments to product launches and beyondWrite engaging, emotive, compelling copy across an expansive range of channels and experiencesUphold best-in-class copywriting practices and proofread with meticulous attention to detailApproach long and short-term projects simultaneously, from swiftly tackling small copy requests to developing long-term creative strategiesBe an inspiring leader, mentor and people managerEnthusiastically take a seasonal concept and translate it into tangible product storiesDrive brand awareness and engagement through masterful storytellingDevelop copy tool kits for the broader editorial team to use across marketing channels, and work closely with fellow writers to ensure consistency in messaging and voiceIdentify opportunities for fresh storytelling across channels, and constantly evaluate new ways for Rothy’s brand voice to come to lifeParticipate in brainstorms and bring fresh ideas to the table while also living and breathing our brand guidelinesResponsible for collaborating cross-functionally, both across the marketing team (with Art Directors, designers, brand managers, Ecommerce) and with other departments (Product, Merchandising, Retail Stores, etc.).You are:

An expert in brand storytelling, identifying copy direction and delivering copywritingA conceptual thinker with big, bold ideasA creative powerhouse who seamlessly partners with Art Directors and designersA strong, sharp writer with a solid portfolioA whiz at taking high level feedback and conjuring creative solutions with little oversightEasily able to manage many projects at onceComfortable presenting your work to leadershipTapped into cultural conversations and entrenched in the current zeitgeistWell-versed in fashion, lifestyle and social trendsAble to effortlessly translate insights to creativeYou have:

5-10 years copywriting experience in-house or with an ad agency, ideally focused on fashion and lifestyle contentThe ability to “see around corners” and think ahead before problems ariseYour finger on the pulse of what’s hot—and what’s notA deep understanding of copywriting nuance across a variety of channels (ecom, email, social, retail, etc.)A solid portfolio showcasing best-in-class brand copywriting inclusive of multiple channels (brand & performance-led headlines, email marketing, retail stores, direct mail & OOH, long-form, etc.)Clear understanding and point of view on brand voice, tone and styleExcellent grammar, editing and proofreading chopsPay range:

$122,000 - $157,000 annuallyBase pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
