OneTeam represents a range of commercial business interests on behalf of the NFLPA, MLBPA, MLSPA, U.S. Women's National Team Players Association, Women's National Basketball Players Association, U.S. Rugby Players Association, National Women’s Soccer League, League of Legends Championship Series Players Association, and college athletes.Role Summary

OneTeam is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel of Business and Legal Affairs to provide legal advice in all matters with respect to business initiatives pursued by OneTeam. This position supports a broad range of general commercial matters and business operations. A proactive, solution-oriented and collaborative approach, attention to detail and superior analytical skills are essential. Significant transactional experience is a must.Key Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts across the OneTeam business such as:retail, consumer product, and promotional licensessponsorship and athlete relationscontent production, broadcast and distribution, digital media, television and online programminginvestments, mergers, and acquisitionsevent-related (e.g., venue, hotel, event management, agency, talent) agreementscontest and sweepstakes documentationconfidentiality, consent and release agreementsterms of use and privacy policiesProvide strategic, practical, and timely legal advice to business teams and advise on business risks and issues regarding contracts and other business initiativesAssist in developing contract policies and processes to manage transaction flowManage forms database and support the continuous improvement of standard form agreementsOperate and maintain brand protection and enforcement program, including managing relationships for same with our shareholdersAssist with special projects for management, including with respect to Board meetingsAttend and represent OneTeam at various meetings, as requestedAdvise on and oversee regulatory compliance matters and corporate policiesRemain informed about current legislation in connection with OneTeam businessOther duties as assignedKey Skills And Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree with excellent academic credentialsBackground at a large law firm preferred, or otherwise at a recognized sports and entertainment boutique and/or in-house legal department with relevant experienceAdmitted to at least one U.S. state bar, and in good standing to practice lawMinimum 6-8 years of transactional experienceExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and public speaking skillsEffective legal research and analysis skillsProven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial transactions (e.g., consumer products, licensing, content development and production, advertising, sponsorship/promotions, athlete marketing)Ability to work independently, but with a firmly held view in success as a teamPrior experience supporting a heavy volume of commercial transactions in a fast-paced environment with proactive and solution-oriented approach to resolving issuesAdaptability and attention to detailStrong time management and organizational qualificationsProfessional “can-do” attitude and strong commitment to quality work product, professional ethics, personal integrity, and sound business judgementOpen to travel to OneTeam and partner events for various offsites and team meetings, when requiredThe Following Skills And Qualifications Are a Plus

8+ years of transactional experienceAdmitted to New York, California, or other major commercial market state barInterest in group licensing and sports law issues (e.g., name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights)Location:

Salary Range: $175,000 - $295,000 + bonus opportunities
