About the OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced
Finance Digital Automation Controller
to lead our Financial IT workflow and digital transformation as part of our growing interdisciplinary finance automation team. This leader will work closely with key stakeholders and other system and application developers to design, architect, implement and maintain end-to-end process automation solutions to drive finance efficiencies and reduce current manual processes. This individual will lead major workflow and other complex business application development projects through delivery while capturing the project’s full impact and value.We are looking for a team member who has a genuine passion for finance transformation with the end user in mind. The individual needs to utilize technology and to be passionate to support those who rely on it; is motivated to be the best results and geared toward continuous improvement of our processes to handle the growing footprint of the organization. This leader will work collaboratively with leaders in finance, engineering, and process designers. Overall, this leader will experience success when the accounting team, accounts receivable, and ultimately the field are impacted by the efficiencies. This leader will strive for a frictionless IT environment to promote a seamless, smooth, user-friendly, and reliable environment.
Key aspects of your role will include:Partner with current business process owners to prioritize areas for automation (workflow, RPA, and AI opportunities).Collaborate, design, develop, test, implement, and support the maintenance of workflow and automation solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the problem for the purpose of providing potential workflow or automation initiatives that will enhance the team's daily work experience and overall results.Conduct thorough analysis of current finance processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for streamlining and optimizing operations.In conjunction with the enterprise automation team, establish a framework for prioritizing projects.Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of automation solutions.Provide training and support to end-users on new tools.Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to measure the impact of automation efforts and identify opportunities for further optimization.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the finance digital automation process.Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in business automation and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the finance department.What we are looking for:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.At least 5 years of accounting experience; CPA is a plus.At least 2 years of IT management experience in development and financial applications or a similar role.A Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field is a plus.You bring rigor and excellence to all that you do. Minimum of 6 years of experience in analyzing and visualizing data using Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, Tellius, or similar BI tools.Minimum of 6 years of work experience in working with databases, including extracting, transforming, and loading data using SQL, Python, and ETL tools.Previous experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools like UIPath, Automation Anywhere, or BluePrism.Workflow automation software.Experience with Workday Financials.Experience with data analysis and strong data analytics skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.Possesses strong project management skills; preferably within finance, IT, and data systems; exhibits initiative and intuitive thinking; and demonstrates ability to meet strict deadlines.Understanding of risk assessment, audit methodology, and audit practices.Demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive analytics innovation, credibly challenge, and proactively influence risk and control environments proficiency in technology as required for assigned areas.Prior experience implementing continuous auditing and/or risk monitoring processes preferred.Create training resources and conduct system training, as needed.What You'll Receive In ReturnAs part of the Ensign family, you'll enjoy many perks including but not limited to: excellent compensation, comprehensive benefits package, PTO, 401K matching, stock options, amazing company culture, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
