will function as the chief educational and operational officer of the school by providing spiritual, educational, and administrative leadership.This school is a Christian school in Lagos, Nigeria that is focused on transforming individuals through education. The focus will be on children's holistic development through a robust academic and extracurricular program.The vision is to see transformed students boldly impacting their communities for Christ. This school nurtures and equips students to achieve their full potential as leaders of societal transformation by providing a holistic, Gospel-centered, academically excellent education in a loving environment.IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILEMaster’s degree in educational leadership or a related field from an accredited university and teaching certification from an accredited university.Experience in educating young students is strongly preferred.Cross-cultural experience preferred.Proven leadership and administrative experience, with the ability to provide consultative guidance and cultivate available resources to respond to needs.Excellent communication, problem solving, speaking, writing, motivational skills.Proficiency in written and spoken English.Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with boards, parents, teachers, and students.JOB DESCRIPTIONSpiritual and Administrative Leadership:Serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the school, reporting directly to the School Board.Strategically implement and develop the mission to bring about the vision.Attend board meetings and committee meetings as needed.Recruit, develop, and support teachers and administrators.Serve as an advisor to the School Board on vision and policy issues and implement duties as assigned by the Board.Display the characteristics of a spiritually mature Christian with Christ-centered servant leadership.Shepherd the spiritual growth of faculty and staff members.Possess a deep commitment and passion for Christian Education.Operational and Strategic Leadership:Assist the School Board in designing, cultivating and progressing a long-term vision for the school, and implement duties as assigned by the Board.Establish a strategic plan and annual goals with input from the School Board.Ensure strategic alignment of policies and processes.Operate the school within the adopted budget.Oversee the budget to ensure good stewardship of school funds.Supervise the physical operation, maintenance and schedule replacement of all properties and fixed assets.Lead annual and project budgets for board approval.Supervise the business office operations.Instructional Leadership:Ensure a holistic education program that leads to expected student outcomes and transformed lives, including a wide variety of student and community activities.Administration of a professional development program that addresses the spiritual and professional growth of the staff; reviewed for relevance regularly and tracked for effectiveness.With the faculty and leadership team, develop and implement the stated curriculum for all grades, maintaining an updated curricular scope and sequence.Work with the board and faculty continuously to align every aspect of the school with a Biblical worldview and philosophy of education that promotes transformational education.
