Shape the Future of Healthcare: Join Us As An Interventional Radiology Technologist!At Recruitz, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our cutting-edge Interventional Radiology team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, working alongside interventional radiologists to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care through advanced medical technology and requires a blend of technical expertise, critical thinking, and compassionate patient care.Key Responsibilities:Assist in a variety of interventional procedures, from diagnostic angiography to complex embolizations and stent placementsOperate advanced imaging equipment during proceduresPrepare patients for interventional procedures and monitor their condition throughoutMaintain sterile technique and assist with medical devices and suppliesAdminister contrast media and medications under physician supervisionImplement radiation safety measures to protect patients and staffCollaborate closely with interventional radiologists and healthcare team membersMaintain accurate patient records and procedure documentationParticipate in on-call rotations for emergency proceduresStay current with advances in interventional radiology techniques and technologiesWhat We Are Looking For:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related fieldCurrent state licensure as a Radiologic TechnologistARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in RadiographyARRT certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) preferredMinimum 3 years of experience in radiologic technology, with at least 1 year in interventional radiologyAdvanced Life Support (ALS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationStrong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminologyExcellent patient care and communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shiftsPreferred Qualifications:AA orBachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related fieldAdditional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., CT, MRI)Experience with advanced interventional procedures and techniquesFamiliarity with electronic health record systemsWhat We Offer:Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience
