We are seeking an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Lead to join us in our Charlotte or Raleigh, North Carolina locations. The position will be responsible for the client account team’s overall Facility Management base building portfolio. The individual will demonstrate leadership, responsiveness, and creativity while overseeing the operation, staffing, performance, and development of the facility management team. The IFM Lead will ensure consistent service delivery across the entire portfolio by having robust processes implemented across regions. They will drive client satisfaction, demonstrating value to the client with a focus on managing the team’s Operating Metrics. The IFM Lead will also support their team in development of budgets, control costs, and manages those who coordinates service provider(s) and staff activities. The role will be asked to leverage organization skills, problem solving, and creative thinking to resolve escalated issues, drive continuous process improvement and team development in a dynamic environment. There will be extensive interaction with internal and external customers is required to ensure seamless delivery of these services while meeting JLL’s goal to provide our clients with the highest level of client service available.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for operational excellence through multi-region management planning / routines within the Facility Project Management service delivery, including but not limited to the team's ability to exceed client's Operating Metrics and adherence to both JLL and Client process/deliverables.

Oversee the development and management of the annual operating expense budgets

Partner with other on account JLL services lines to provide consistency and to ensure the use of best practices throughout the client’s portfolio

Develop and maintain a high-performance team utilizing HR top grading and other tools for hiring, talent and succession planning, and development planning.

Provide leadership for the successful implementation of special projects and initiatives

Ensure compliance with portfolio wide initiatives, local, state and federal laws, and governing regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities on behalf of the client as owner

Management of client escalations or initiatives within the teams area of responsibility

Oversee the development and timely submission of monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client

Help to develop and gain approval for the annual capital plan including infra-structure upgrades and building modifications to ensure the building’s future capabilities are maintained.

Provide oversight for the Facility Project Management team responsible for executing time sensitive like-for-like capital replacements on behalf of the Facility Management team

Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and projects that aim to reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity or longevity

Coordinate discussions with each direct report regarding goal setting, performance reviews, career development planning and incentive/salary administration

Ability to interpret and make data driven decisions to drive productivity and performance

Manage and encourage participation in the client and Jones Lang LaSalle Employee Recognition Awards programs

Performs additional job duties as requested

Position requires domestic travel within the client account’s portfolio

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises and oversees facility management organization of approximately 90 FTEs with 5-6 direct reports. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the policies enumerated within the Jones Lang LaSalle Personnel Handbook and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Knows, understands and sets an example relative to the policies within the Jones Lang LaSalle Personnel Handbook.

Minimum Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis

Minimum of eight years industry experience either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant

CPM, RPA or CSM designation is preferred

MBA is desirable
