Job Description:

As a Personal Injury Paralegal at The Ledger Law Firm, you will be an essential part of our legal team, supporting attorneys by managing case files, conducting legal research, and assisting with the preparation of legal documents. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for personal injury cases.

Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and up-to-date.

Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.

Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to collect information and provide case updates.

Draft correspondence and other legal documents as needed.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.

Minimum of 1 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law.

Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal research methods.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

High degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
