Shift:
Days / 8:30a-5p, 8×5, 40hrs per weekLength:
13 Weeks
Requirements:1 year of experienceGraduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited schoolBLSARRT in RadiographyARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligibleDigital – Required3D – Required2 years of experience in Mammography preferredKnowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferredExperience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferredOthers:Will accept 1st time travelersAbility to read, write, and comprehend medical terminologyAbility to stand for long periods of timeThe Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This position is critical to Washington Radiology; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience.REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:BLSCompletion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in RadiographyARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligibleCurrent on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRTMust possess non-restricted licensure in state work location; New applicants: ETA 6-8 weeks for license.Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school*Will accept 1 year experience and 1st time travelers.Unit:
