OVERVIEW

The Vice President, Finance will be a key driver in guiding the financial strategy and operational excellence of our company. This role involves comprehensive oversight of financial planning, risk management, and execution of the company's long-term financial strategy, with a special emphasis on optimizing financial health, supporting our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and driving sustainable growth. The VP, Finance will collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to ensure that financial objectives are met and that strategic initiatives are effectively implemented.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and risk management to support overall business objectives and the ESOP.

Operational Oversight: Provide leadership for all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit management. Ensure the company's financial systems are robust and scalable.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, board of directors, and senior management to inform and guide key business decisions with financial insights and forecasts.

Risk Management and Compliance: Oversee the management of financial risks, ensuring the company is compliant with all relevant regulations, including tax laws, insurance requirements, and ESOP governance.

Team Development: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Oversee talent management, recruitment, and retention within the department.

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Provide insights into variances and recommend corrective actions.

Liquidity and Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company's liquidity and cash flow, ensuring the company is well-positioned to meet its financial obligations and invest in future growth.

Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banking partners, auditors, and financial institutions, to ensure the company's financial interests are safeguarded.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; an MBA or CPA is strongly preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products sectors.

Extensive experience with ESOPs, tax compliance, financial reporting, and audit management.

Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP/MRP systems, with experience in Deacom ERP or similar systems preferred.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences.
