ANC Radiology Multi Mod POPCFull TimeJob SummaryThis position is located at the Peninsula Outpatient Center (POPC) in Burlingame, CA. Must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations. Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays, and on-call shifts are required.

Performs ultrasound procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention. Processes images on appropriate archival systems. Participates in performance improvement activities in the department. Maintains appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing and maintenance. Requires active ARDMS status and previous ultrasound experience.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. ARDMS or ASRT in Breast SonographyMaintain ARDMS credential(s) according to the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography's criteria.Previous ultrasound experienceBLS CertificationGraduate of a formal accredited ultrasound training program in an approved school.Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays, and on-call shifts.Requires two (2) years as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or equivalent.New hires who meet criteria of equivalent experience and credentials held must also have equivalent Senior Sonographer skills.This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations and variable shifts per department needs.Preferred Qualifications

Prefer recent work experience in an acute care setting.License/Certification
