The Sport Clips Area Manager (or Area Leader as we like to call it) fulfills multiple roles and is responsible for overseeing and managing Company Stores within a designated area.
Scope:The Area Leader reports to the Director of Company Store Operations. This position serves as a mid-level Manager and intermediary between the management team and multiple Store Managers and is ultimately responsible for the final result of Store operations, from Manager training to Store-level execution.
The Area Leader works directly with the Company Stores Operations Specialist to track metrics, which are critical to Store growth and continued success, and execute operational excellence at the regional level.
Key Criteria/Requirements:
2+ years of managing teams through leadership and coaching
2+ years of multi-salon management experience
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to individual stores required
Computer knowledge a must
Strong communication skills
Solid training, presentation, analytical, and relationship building skills
Positive, supportive, and outgoing personality
Demonstration of organizational core values
Able to stand for extended periods of time as well as bend and walk
Able to lift up to 25 pounds
