What You’ll Do:
Build and maintain systematic reporting and dashboards to foster self-service data cultureConduct deep dives to understand feature/component performance and user behavior, evaluate AB tests, and extract actionable insightsPartner widely with product, engineering, research, and design to translate your insights to guide product developmentYou will be positioned to have a view of the business, product, and member base and encouraged to understand and explain trendsLead experimentation by providing mentorship on how they should be run, defining success metrics and data requirements, evaluating impact, and providing strategic directionDrive research and modeling around retention, conversion and renewal driversSupport the business with ad-hoc analyses; internal and external business decisionsBuild data pipelines to support reporting and analyses, and help shape our evolving data infrastructureFoster data self-service culture in the product & engineering teamsBe product and user obsessedWhat You'll Bring:
Bachelors degree Mathematics, Statistics, CS or in related field6+ years data analysis experience in an online product business, with a proven track record of building analytics tools and generating insightsStart up experience is requiredWorked with a product with over 1M usersSQL experience with large data sets (we use Redshift and Postgres)Python experience with data-related libraries such as numpy, pandas, etc.Understanding of frequentist statistics, time series analysis and forecasting techniquesExperience with BI/reporting tools such as Looker, Redash, or Tableau (we use Redash)Experience with ETL-related tools such as DBT or AirflowApplied experience with AB testingWhat We’ll Offer:
