To ensure that Visa's payment technology is truly available to everyone, everywhere requires the success of our key bank or merchant partners and internal business units. Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) supports these partners by using our extraordinarily rich data set that spans more than 3 billion cards globally and captures more than 100 billion transactions in a single year. VCA drives tangible, impactful, and financial results for Visa's network clients, including both financial services and merchants as well as Visa's internal business units. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.VCA works with consumer data in over 70 countries and is bound by Visa's contractual relationships with the world's foremost issuers, merchants, and technology companies. This creates a complex compliance landscape for our Consultants and Data Scientists to navigate. Working closely with VCA Legal staff and Visa's Global Privacy Office, the Director VCA Data Stewardship will need to quickly build a command of the various privacy and confidentiality policies governing how VCA shares data-driven insights with partners. In this role, they will collaborate with VCA members around the world to provide value to clients in a manner that complies with Visa's data use policies.Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with VCA members in the EU/CEMEA/AP regions to navigate ambiguous policy situations. Creatively problem-solve to provide value to clients in a compliant manner.Quickly build a command of the various privacy and confidentiality policies which govern how VCA shares data-driven insights with partners.Connect policies to common data analytics performed by VCA and develop compliance checklists and toolkits.Respond to nuanced policy inquiries in a timely and professional manner, identify potential risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.Develop process for managing and tracking inquiries and connecting data use tickets to project tracking tools.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.Preferred Qualifications9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.6 years of work experience in data analytics or data-driven consulting.Fluency with KPI application to business decision making, along with experience storytelling and influencing with data.Highly organized self-starter.Ability to handle multiple workstreams with a client-facing outcome-driven mindset.Demonstrated experience and technical familiarity with data analytics.Demonstrated track record of adding value through process and program ownership.Strong communication skills, ability to explain how policy applies to a proposed approach.Ability to consistently apply structured thinking and good judgment to analytical inquiries, communicate guidance in a reasoned, fact-based manner.Ability to work with professionals in different time zones.Experience sharing VisaNet-based insights with external clients.Consulting and/or payments experience.Good understanding of GDPR.Additional Information

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 133,000.00 to 192,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
