How you’ll add value…

As Account Manager, Inside Sales, you will be responsible for managing key customers, supporting the sales team, and growing revenue for Kovalus’s product portfolio in North America. Background, understanding and experience in selling separation products to Industrial, Food and Beverage, and Life Science customers would be beneficial to success in this role. Your ability to build strong business partnerships with customers and within the organization, will be crucial to your success.

What you’ll do…

Key Responsibilities:Account Management:

Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within existing accounts, understanding their evolving needs and aligning our solutions to meet those needs.Monitor account performance metrics and use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve account outcomes.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

Meet activity expectations required to maintain entire book of businessDevelop and implement tailored strategies for account growth, including personalized outreach, targeted offers, and solution-based selling.

Customer Engagement:

Proactively engage with clients through regular check-ins, reviews, and business discussions to identify and address potential growth opportunities.Provide product demonstrations and presentations to customers.Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns and promotions.

Pipeline Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.Provide regular updates on account status, growth progress, and any challenges or opportunities to senior management.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategic sales plans.Coordinate with customer service and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

What you’ll bring…

RequiredA minimum of 3+ years of relevant technical sales experience or operational experience in the food processing, dairy, life science, water treatment industry and a desire to move into a customer facing role is required.Excellent verbal and written communications skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills.Ability to work autonomously in a remote role.Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.Previous experience with virtual account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques is preferredDemonstrated experience working with sales organizations and technical teams.Experience in a fast paced, growth environment.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life science, or related technical discipline
