Metro West Fire District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic. The District is creating a qualification list for 12 months or until the list is exhausted. To ensure you have all the necessary documentation for eligibility please review the
minimum
qualifications provided:
Firefighter/Paramedic minimum qualifications
Valid Missouri Paramedic License
Valid Drivers License in the state of residency
Certification of completion through the St. Louis County Fire Academy
Current in ACLS; BLS; PALS or Handtevy
Valid Candidate Physical Agility Test (CPAT) card (Fire Academy hosting test dates are Sept 4, 18; Oct 2 & 16)
The application process will close at 4:00 pm on October 18, 2024
When filling out the application, please include a resume' and copies of any required certifications. The tentative hiring testing schedule will be during late October and the month of November. At that time additional documentation will be requested in support of the minimum qualification items.
