If you are a conscientious person, particularly careful, thorough and accurate in working with details, consider a Final Inspector position at SV Microwave. Position Responsibilities: Inspect all subassemblies and finished goods for workmanship, dimensional and visual conformance to all applicable drawings, specifications, documents and quality standards.Follow inspection procedures to accept/reject work inspected, for both piece parts and finished goods.Read and understand required inspection documentation such as operating procedures, written work instructions, travelers, drawings and customer specifications.Complete First Article InspectionInspect product involving numerous precision tolerance dimensions and angles using precision measuring instruments.Perform any inspection functions as requested by the Production Manager or QA Manager.Prepare all required inspection documentation accurately and legibly.Accurately enter required information into the Inspection database.Prepare rejection documentation and process rejected product as required by subsequent disposition by MRB.Communicate all issues and problems effectively to all levels of managementIdentify any questionable practices and communicate to Production Manager. Requirements: 2+ yrs. working in production/inspection. IPC and/or JSTD Certification a strong plus.Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD001 workmanship standards.Strong knowledge of First Article Inspection process.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering orders, and all appropriate manuals/specifications.Proficient working with inspection tools: microscope, magnifier, calipers, drop gages.Use/application of checking fixtures, templates, magnets, scales, surface plate and inspection stamps.Operation of optical comparator.
