Key Responsibilities:
Leads the Line Planning Team in effective scheduling and execution of the total aircraft maintenance program
Effective scheduling is defined as obtaining necessary routing requirements in order to handle workload to the available resources
This scheduling must avoid negative impact on the operation by preventing operational delays and, above all, maintaining all airworthiness standards
Maintain solid time management skills with the ability to plan, organize and implement multiple initiatives and fast paced workloads while consistently providing outstanding customer service
Develops and cultivates positive cross-divisional relationships while maintaining an open line of communication with the planning teams, maintenance stations, maintenance control, engineering and other project management groups
Ability to effectively prepare and lead conference calls, presentations and meetings in one—on—one or group situations in order to update, inform or persuade employees of the organization, up to senior leadership
Responsible for achieving prescribed company objectives (Key Performance Indicators) in regard to fleet reliability, cost, productivity, customer service and team members by using strong analytical skills to implement long-term plans into day-to-day operations. Also, generating easy-to-interpret reports and spreadsheets based on collected data for leadership
Maintains a rotating work schedule that includes vacation coverage while meeting overtime goals
Create, update and maintain departmental GMM and SOP manuals while ensuring all processes are adhered to
Delegate special assignments to authority for accomplishment of projects that require extensive attention to detail and execution
Engages and participates with cross-departmental teams such as Methods and Standards, Maintenance Programs, Regulatory and Task Implementation on changes to fleet maintenance programs

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
High School Diploma, GED or education equivalent
5 years of commercial aircraft or military aircraft maintenance experience
FAA Airframe and Power plant License
Solid background and in-depth knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations pertaining to maintenance programs and procedures, aircraft maintenance systems and aircraft routing
Demonstrates strong knowledge and understanding of project and time management concepts
Thorough, proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude as well as exhibiting excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work long hours with limited to no supervision from leadership
Take initiative to continually improve team performance and work processes through feedback, problem solving and idea generation while driving root cause corrective action for behavioral and operational issues
Must be flexible and willing to work a rotating shift in a 24 hour/7 day a week operation including weekends, nights and holidays
