Coordination of aircraft maintenance station’s capabilities, labor resources, hangar management, materials, and tooling availability to complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenanceCollaborate with station aircraft maintenance teams and the NOC fleet line maintenance planning team to maximize station maintenance opportunitiesProvide workload prioritization guidance to aircraft maintenance teamsComprehension and use of digital technology required for job functionsIdentify and suggest areas of improvement to include processes and digital technologyCollaborate with multiple teams providing feedback and guidance. Participating and leading project and coordination meetingsAble to interpret aircraft maintenance task cards, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, and engineering documentsQualifications: What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

High school diploma or GED or education equivalentFAA Airframe and Power Plant License or technical aviation degree or technical experience equivalent2 years of commercial or military aircraft maintenance experience in a technician roleMust be able to work on site which includes shift work, weekends, and holidaysUp to 10% travelStrong background and knowledge of airframe and engine maintenance systemsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationWhat will help you propel from the pack:

College degree in Aviation, Engineering or Technical related fields2 years of aircraft maintenance planning experience2 years in aircraft maintenance management or leadership roleUnited Airlines is an equal opportunity employer.
