Scope of ResponsibilityThe Electrician is responsible for effectively & efficiently installing and repairing electrical systems. Performing preventative maintenance program and identify existing and potential electric problems within the plant. Also, coordinate a plan of corrective action.
Specialized Knowledge and ExperienceKnowledge and experience working with 110vac-1ph-480vac3ph power distribution. Knowledge and experience of installation, troubleshooting, and repairing of low voltage controls and circuitry, variable frequency drives, servo devices and motors, specialized controllers for temperature and pressure, firm knowledge of PLC"s and associates sensors, devices and HMI displays function. Must be able to read and understand schematics, ladder logic diagrams and P & I Drawings, and one line drawings. Ability to troubleshoot thru the integration of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic, and other integrated processing equipment needs for effective operation and timely repair. Knowledge and ability to plan, size and install circuits and power using conduit, wire way, flexible conduit and cord and related connectors, enclosures, panels, transformers, and routing and suspension devices to NEC code requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities* Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair electrical systems* Must be able to read, write and understand English* Report any equipment or electrical problems requiring repair to Plant Manager* Perform preventative maintenance procedures as required as scheduled* Complete all related documentation as required* Must have basic math skills* Troubleshoot and analyze different types of motor and circuit controls* Troubleshoot installs, remove, repair, calibrate & test electrical & pneumatic instruments used in production and shop* Work to meet current electrical codes* Read and understand electrical and related blueprints* Must be experienced with medium high voltage or electronics* Must be able to coordinate a plan of corrective action* Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety requirements to ensure high product integrity* Coordinate and instruct subordinates when in need of your experience* Performs other duties as assigned by the Management team

We have a new opening for an Electrician for night shift. Qualifications include:
* Must have 3-5 years of experience. Must have own hand tools: mechanics metric/standard electrician hand tools, volt/ohm meter, and amp meter.* Knowledge of the following:* 3 phase motors* Control wiring - 24 VDD, 120 VAC, 220 VAC, 480 V* Electrical schematic reading* Troubleshoot PLC/Control Systems* Conduit bending* Motor/control calculation for new circuits* Preventive maintenance on electrical systems* Basic knowledge of welding/fabrication, hydraulic/pneumatic, plumbing, and machine repair* Must be able to read blue prints* Must have knowledge of lock out/tag out* Position requires basic mechanics in addition to electrical duties
