Spinato's Pizzeria, Scottsdale, Arizona, us, 85261
At Spinato's, a Host(ess) is called A Guest Service Representative (GSR) and must provide every guest with the "Spinato's Experience" and participate in a team environment. Making sure our guests get a great first impression is a must. A GSR's role is to ultimately welcome our guests and direct traffic. Great communication skills and a winning attitude are a must!
A GSR performs tasks as a seater. Seaters are stationed at the podium in the lobby and are responsible for escorting our dine-in guests to their table. They set the tone for a dine-in guest's entire experience. They need to be warm, out-going and sensitive to our guests needs. When we're not running a wait, it's a pretty easy job. But when we are running a wait, a Seater needs to put on their Super GSR cape and become a Coordinator. This means quoting accurate wait times, maintaining an accurate waiting list, and entertaining the guests who choose to wait.
GSRs will also perform other roles in the restaurant. This may include providing assistance in the dining room, such as bussing and setting tables, getting refills, or helping servers.
