We are currently seeking an individual to fill an

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

position for our Alabama locations. This individual will be responsible for analyzing and correcting electrical problems, and will repair and or overhaul electrical equipment and controls. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Locations served include Alabama Quarry Locations: Hollywood, Lacey's Spring, Madison, Tanner, and Tuscumbia.

Wage ranges from $32.00/hour+ for extensive experience personnel /

certified electricians. This position would include a company service vehicle for business and commute purposes, no personal use. Overtime available along with extensive medical and retirement benefits.

Full-Time

Day Shift: approximate shift times of 6:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required.

QUALIFICATIONSPlans details of working procedure by determining replacement needs or new material required and develops a logical approach to correct the problem.Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electronic devices and systems.Receives wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions from supervisor covering emergency and scheduled repairs, installation, and electrical inspection work to be performed.Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles of operation of electrical equipment. Start up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with MSHA requirements.Services electronic equipment by checking, testing, and replacing faulty components, circuits, printed circuit boards, and similar electronic devices.Installs, repairs, and maintains communication cables, power distribution cables, along with splicing as required.Familiarity and experience working with PLCs (Programable Logic Controllers) is a plus.Experience working with High Voltage (480 volts) requiredFabricates parts if not commercially available, using machine and hand tools common to the trade.Determines need for, analyzes, and makes necessary running adjustments, repairs, and overhauls.Advises and cautions operators and mechanics about potential electrical problems and inherent dangers involved.Notifies supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical equipment noted and corrective action taken.As a Rogers Group employee, you will have access to our competitive company perks, including:
