Rogers Group Inc. is seeking a
General Utility Worker
that will float between our asphalt plants located in Canton, Henderson, Marion, and Hopkinsville. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:General plant/mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assist with plant clean up and operationsBeing trained in various other entry level production positions and fill in as needed during vacations, absences and increased production demand timesReport equipment problems and identify them to management;Light maintenance work and maintain the belt linesComplete equipment pre-shift report - if applicableAssist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS:
Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environmentAbility to maintain safe working conditionsSelf-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervisionAble to perform a variety of duties, some which may include plant clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment and other duties as assignedAbility to learn quicklyMust be willing to work weekends and overtimeMust pass pre-employment drug screenAs a Rogers Group employee, you will have access to our competitive company perks, including:
