We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Quality Inspector Lead
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, particularly within a machine shop environment. This role is critical to ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Position Highlights:
Location: Riverside, CaStarting Pay: $26/HR.Schedule: M- F | 6:00A - 2:30PType of Position: Temp to HireKey Responsibilities:
Proficiently use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, thread gauges, and CMM.Read and interpret blueprints to inspect parts according to GD&T format and drawing specifications.Execute FAI Reports with a thorough understanding of AS 9102 Standard.Initiate NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) as per procedures when issues arise.Perform Receiving, In-Process, and Final Inspections.Create and evaluate RMAs (Return Material Authorizations).Coordinate, schedule, and attend source inspections.Maintain a Calibration Log for test instruments and arrange timely calibrations.Qualifications and Requirements:
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a QC Inspector role, preferably in a machine shop environment.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in leadership related roleStrong oral and written communication skills.
