Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our dynamic team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for the painting and staining of various surfaces, operating and maintaining HVLP and airless spray equipment, ensuring high-quality finishes. Your expertise in sanding, oil application via HVLP/airless sprayers and hand tools, and pressure washing will be crucial in delivering top-notch results. Wood finishing or automotive finishing experience is preferred but not required. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for precision, and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Perform painting and staining on a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, furniture, and exteriors.
Conduct thorough preparation work, including sanding, priming, and masking, to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Apply oil-based paints and stains with precision and attention to detail.
Utilize pressure washing equipment to clean surfaces effectively.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make any necessary touch-ups or corrections.
Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of HVLP equipment as well as airless spraying equipment.
Ability to read and adhere to product specific technical data.
Handling and application of solvent based materials.
Following multi step processes to obtain specified finish.
Producing finished products to construction team in a timely manner.
Experience in working inside of climate-controlled spray booths.
Knowledge of various painting techniques, including staining and oil application.
Familiarity with different types of paints, stains, and finishes.
Proficient in sanding and surface preparation.
Experience with pressure washing equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Strong communication skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Safety-conscious and adherence to safety guidelines.
