Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Logistician to provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) to NAVSEA PEO Ships supporting the PMS 317 Office at the Washington Navy Yard. This role will support US Navy ship types including LSM, LCAC SLEP, LCU, and SSCs. The successful candidate will help drive planning, execution, coordination, integration, and oversight of all IPS activities and projects. Responsibilities include:

Preparing Product Support Management (PSM) planning and acquisition documentation required and in accordance with latest DoD 5000.02 Instruction from program inception for the life cycle support and maintenance of the class.Conducting and reviewing ILS analyses to ensure supportability product integration.Planning, identifying, developing, implementing, integrating, and monitoring ILS processes and strategies.Performing logistics analyses to support the development of solutions addressing the supportability of mission-critical/mission essential ILS requirements and special interest requirements.Supporting the integration of all logistics activities related to the development, design, production, and Life Cycle support for assigned product lines to include coordination of inter-agency and joint communities.Participating in various Training Working Group (TWG) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings. Provide Configuration Control Board (CCB) support, including: the review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Manual Deficiency Reports (TMDERs)/Liaison Action Record (LARs), deviations, and waivers for ILS impacts and providing comments and recommendations, ensuring that completed ILS Checklists are provided, and maintaining CCB documentation.Assisting in the planning, coordination, execution, and issue resolution for Program Independent Logistics Assessments (ILA). Prepare, maintain, and produce monthly metrics briefs utilizing Model Based Product Support (MBPS).Conducting research relative to alternative support strategies and provide reports that identify high-cost equipment by Allowance Parts List (APL), Allowance Equipage List (AEL) and Equipment Identification Code (EIC). Provide technical support in the execution of Product Support Analysis (PSA) and monitor implementation.Preparing Allowance Change Request (ACRs) / Allowance Exception Request (AERs) for Program Office approval.Here's what you need:

Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) and 10 years of relevant experience in ILSComprehensive professional experience with life cycle management of systems, subsystems, and equipment, demonstrating proficiency in planning, acquisition, maintenance, and disposal phases, preferably with direct US Navy support of ships.Relevant experience related to acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery and final disposal of resources.Relevant experience with ILS Planning, MPSS, DOPS, DMSMS, CASREPS, IPTs, MBPS, APLS, AELs, EICsKnowledge of and experience working with the Navy and Naval processes.Security Clearance:
