A growing and vital company, Flex-N-Gate provides a great opportunity for hard-working and skilled individuals.Scope of the Position:The Cycle Counter is responsible for accurately reporting manufactured product. Directly or through manager, ensures achievement of company goals and objectives. This position participates fully in department initiatives. This position will work closely with the Continuos Improvement Engineer, Materials Team, Controller and Production Team.Responsibilities:Inventory expert, working with ERP systems to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and monitor inventory accuracyMaintain minimum inventory levels and monitor for accuracy regularly with cycle countsCommunicate current inventory with material schedulerWork as a team with Manufacturing to locate and cycle count productCheck and update inventory databases with current dataVerify receipt data entry from Receivers and monitor FIFO of raw materials throughout the plantCMS database- Troubleshooting inventory discrepancies, understanding transactions in inventory database and root cause analysisWork with Quality Management on supplier quality issues. (Ensure that production is protected)Keep up to date with system changes and training requirements related to job dutiesThe incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as stated in EMS policy CEVPL.00005Qualifications:
High School Diploma and 2 years manufacturing/inventory experienceExcellent organizational and time managementProficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft OfficeAbility to work effectively alone and prioritizeMust be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detailStrong analytical abilitySupervisory and interpersonal skills are requiredTroubleshooting ability is requiredStrong decision making and problem solving skillsDemonstrated good internal customer service skillsDetail orientedGood computer skills
