The Recruiter is responsible for partnering with a highly energetic and collaborative team of business managers to support the entire recruiting process.The successful candidate is responsible for leveraging technology and data to source talent, recruit, and screen applicants for a variety of positions primarily in the diesel technology and heavy equipment fields.Other recruitment efforts for other general roles will be required as business needs dictate.Work is performed under general supervision and is occasionally complex.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Serve as a brand ambassador for WEC throughout the recruiting process, including various recruitment functions such as job fairs, career expos, and professional conferences.Support college, vocational technology programs, and high school talent pipeline initiatives; develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders at select programs.Partner with WEC's marketing department in leading the development and implementation of new technology and social media recruiting strategies; share best practices and recommend strategies to increase brand awareness.Partner and consult with hiring managers to understand the scope of the position that currently needs to be filled as well as their long-term staffing needs; gather candidate qualifications, such as job knowledge requirements and technical skills; utilize behavioral-based interviewing techniques in vetting qualified applicants.Ensure all recruiting strategies follow appropriate federal and state employment laws and regulations; coach hiring managers with effective recruiting practices to ensure polices and legal requirements are in compliance; ensure outreach strategy proactively engages with top talent that aligns with our diverse culture.Develop a full understanding of and utilize reporting features of recruiting systems, including requisition reports, candidate status reports, etc., ensuring recruiting strategies are delivering expected results.Inform all key stakeholders of progress on all recruiting initiatives.Capture and share competitive intelligence information with appropriate recruiting partners, ensuring WEC's pay and benefits practices keep pace with our market.Support and become a key stakeholder the company's military recruiting initiative.Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.Utilize current sourcing trends, techniques, tools and technologies to build candidate pipelines and manage the candidate experience throughout the sourcing process for active and future requisitions.Other duties may be assigned.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; minimum of 2 years of recruiting, human resources, or similar experience in a highly regulated work environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Prior work experience leading and organizing hiring events.Experience with military and diversity talent acquisition and talent attraction initiatives.Basic knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) requirements.Basic experience and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.Applicants must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without need for company sponsorship.Inquisitive with a demonstrated passion for learning and process improvement.A creative and gifted communicator with the ability to become a strong ambassador for the company.Possess strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.Valid drivers' license.WHY WORK WITH US?
