Best Buy is currently seeking a Principal Recruiter II to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role is often the first voice candidates hear when they are considering Best Buy, and this key ambassador identifies, engages talent as well as consults with hiring managers through the hiring process. You will both review applicants as well as seek out passive talent in the marketplace.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days

on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting

and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What You’ll Do

Develop and execute strategies to identify and engage high quality, hard to find candidates for corporate niche positions within Best Buy with the bulk of the roles coming from our Digital, Analytics, and Technology team.Act as a consultant to multiple stakeholders up to the highest levels in Best Buy regarding recruitment, sourcing, forecasting, talent planning, diversity and internal movement.Develop comprehensive sourcing strategies and conduct candidate screenings for assigned roles in your functional area by leveraging multiple sourcing channels to identify and attract top talent.Act as a mentor to less experienced recruiters – sharing best practices and strategies for the purposes of career development.You will be responsible for driving the full recruitment cycle process and meeting defined recruiting metrics for quality, days to recruit, diversity and compliance/risk all while providing a world class recruitment experience for your candidates and assigned business partners throughout the hiring process.Basic Qualifications

7 or more years of experience in Talent Acquisition or HR related work5 or more years of mid-large size corporate or agency recruiting experience3 or more years of technical recruiting experience3 or more years of experience developing sourcing strategies utilizing multiple channelsPreferred Qualifications

Experience using data to educate stakeholders on the external market and to influence decisions on the recruiting processExperience in sourcing and presenting a diverse candidate slate to hiring managersExperience with core recruiting functions, including interview scheduling, candidate debrief, development of employment offers, extending offers to candidate as required and follow up with non-selected candidatesKnowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS); Posting open requisitions, tracking candidate activity
