Description
We are currently accepting applications for an experienced
Construction Estimator
to join our team.
Responsibilities
The Estimator's responsibilities will include but are not limited to:•Review plans, specifications, and all project documents to perform accurate take-offs.•Solicit proposals, gather plans, specifications, quotes, and other documents, and put together a detailed scope of work.•Attend pre-bid meetings and visit sites as necessary during the bidding process.•Understand the scope and requirements for a successful project.•Produce a work schedule and calculate cost factors to include in the estimate.•Build and maintain solid relationships with subcontractors and vendors using effective communication.•Negotiate and buy out subcontractors for pricing.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Preferred)•Construction Estimating: 3 Years (Preferred)•Well-developed understanding of construction processes•Capable computer skills, knowledge, and efficiency•Comprehension of drawings and specifications to evaluate all scopes of the work required
