Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team! The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for working with business units to identify reporting and analytical requirements. In addition, the BI Analyst will be responsible for developing data visualization reports, decks and dashboards that business leaders can utilize for decision-making and strategic planning. The candidate must be knowledgeable with data science tools, such as PowerBI, SQL, Tableau, Advanced Excel skills and possess an innate level of data curiosity.

Primary Responsibilities:Developing, interpreting and maintaining effective analytic processes, dashboard visualizations, KPIs, and executive summaries to drive strategic business decisions.Using data warehousing/business intelligence toolsets to gather, store, and assist management decision making.Running queries, translating, and manipulating raw data pulled from different sources to create reports that can easily be interpreted and presented based on established schedules or as needed.Analyzing data and delivering analytical insight and recommendations in succinct and compelling presentations to support the overall strategy of the organization to different stakeholders both virtually and in person meetings.Collaborating with business units and senior management to conduct needs assessment to support organization strategies that support business unit objectives.Performing complex analysis as needed to answer specific business questions and produce actionable insights.Providing industry and market context in the interpretation of analytical results.Basic Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Information Technology or similarly quantitative/analytical degrees.Proficiency in self-service analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, SQL, Power BI, R/SAS/Python and other statistical analysis tools.Ability to tell compelling stories with data.Able to work well with data and display efficiency in data mining, clean-up, and visualization. Knowledgeable in credit union terminologies and able to communicate with business unit leaders in understanding business needs. Skilled in translating non-technical requirements to technical requirements.Preferred minimum 3-5 years specifically in technical data and analytics / business intelligence environments (monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data).Experience with Microsoft Office applications which includes preparing spreadsheets, working with complex formulas, and utilizing work processing.Financial analysis, including business analytics; Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive AnalyticsExperience performing financial research to make business recommendations (i.e., budgetary controls, acquisition activity, planning, monitoring, etc.) and forecasting, identifying trends, root causes, etc.Experience interpreting and translating raw data into management reports.Time management skills to work on large projects and many data streams and may have competing deadlines.
