What you'll do:Western Alliance Bank is seeking passionate, results-driven SQL\ETL developer to deliver innovative, industry leading solutions. We want a creative, highly-motivated developer who can take initiative, have good sense of urgency and is comfortable working in a fast paced, agile environment.
What we are looking for:ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:Responsible for the design, development and deployment of data extracts, transformations or loads, supporting the ingestion and transformation of data as needed using Azure Data Factory and SSIS packages.Provide database administration support for on-perm and cloud databasesWork with different teams to understand complex business logic and design ETL process.Design and develop data warehouse ETL processes in SSIS & SQL stored proceduresAnalyze business user requirement, Asses different source data of banking applications and design data flow to implement ETL process using Microsoft SSIS tool.Develop reports using SSRS & SQL stored proceduresAnalyze and provide suggestions to tune database stored procedures to ensure optimal performanceTroubleshoot and fine tune database configurations, ETL processes and SQL code for optimal performance.Set and Maintain database standardsRecommend and Implement emerging database solutions.Contribute to continuous improvements of the existing applicationsConduct code reviewsDevelop SQL server stored procedure to implement business logic.Follow Banks processes and procedures for each development cycle.Maintain Documentation patterns for all the applications.Adhere to all data security and integrity policiesActively participate in all aspects of the software engineering process.Efficiently work in Agile environmentJob RequirementsMust have 7+ years of solid Experience in SQL development.Must have 7+ years hands on experience in ETL design and development using any Microsoft SQL server ETL tools or InformaticaMust have 5+ years in database administration4+ years' experience in Azure data factoryGood understanding of data cleansing, normalization, standardization, enrichment, fuzzy match techniques and data governance conceptsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsOutstanding SQL and data analysis skillsExperience in analyzing and building reports/dashboards using BI reporting tools such a TableauExperience in BI development, database development and SQL Database.Good understanding with development life cycle, data architect and related methodologiesBenefits you'll love:We offer all the important things you'd want - like competitive salaries, an ownership stake in the company, medical and dental insurance, time off, a great 401k matching program, tuition assistance program, an employee volunteer program, and a wellness program.
