Quality Coordinator

KPC Promise Hospital of BATON ROUGE: The Quality Coordinator performs quality management review functions such as review/audits of patient records, preparing reports, assisting with regulatory preparation and assisting the Department Director with administrative functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

LPN/LVN, Tech, or other related healthcare experience.Three years clinical experience in an acute care settingTwo year's experience with TJC/regulatory and quality management related activities andfunctions

Computer literate, proficient in Excel and Access programs with ability to prepare reports andGraphs

Basic knowledge of statistical analysis preferredMust be able to read, write, and speak English

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical: Walking - up to 20% Standing - up to 10% Kneeling - up to 5%

Sitting - up to 40% Pushing - up to 5% Bending - up to 5%

Squatting - up to 5% Pulling - up to 5% Reaching - up to 5%

Lifting - up to 50 lbs. Wrist/Finger Movements - up to 90%

Mental: Stress Level: Moderate to high

EXPOSURE RISK:

Category III - Jobs in which required tasks involve no greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
