Technical Support Specialist - HOFFMAN (Air Conditioners/Cooling)

Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:Field technical inquiries for the operation, diagnosis, and repair of nVent/HOFFMAN air conditionersMaintain a high level of internal and external communication via phone or e-mailSubmit repair quotations for non-warranty servicesCollect, compile, and coordinate all support data and technical information required to accurately substantiate, submit, and recover warranty claimsLead and/or participate in special projectsProcess field service requests for customersWorks with Sales, Marketing, Production, Shipping, and other operating functions regarding product, delivery, or service mattersYOU HAVE:AA technical degree or 2+ years of technical product-related experience preferredHVAC or electrical product troubleshooting experience preferredExperience in customer service or sales supportKnowledge of line and low-voltage electrical circuits and the ability to interpret and understand product drawings preferredSkill in identifying root causes of problems/issues and developing recommendations for resolutionStrong verbal and written communication skillsWE HAVE:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every dayAt nVent, we believe safer systems ensure a more secure world.
