Experience with SEC reporting is a plus. This position is located at the nVent enterprise management office in St. Louis Park, MN and reports to the enterprise Vice President and Deputy General Counsel.What You Will Experience In This Position
In this role you will get to:Support nVent’s M&A strategies from deal consideration through integrationReview and negotiate complex transaction agreementsAdvise senior nVent leadership and business clients on transaction-related mattersManage internal and external deal processesSupport the enterprise legal team as requested, including with respect to corporate governance, subsidiary management, SEC reporting, commercial and other mattersProvide direct legal support to enterprise functional teams, including finance, treasury, business development, risk management, real estate and supply chainSupport contracting efforts, including reviewing, drafting, negotiating and advising with respect to commercial agreementsHandle special projects and support continuous improvement of legal department standard work, knowledge management and processesYou Have
JD from accredited law school of recognized standing and license to practice law in MN (or ability to waive in)5+ years of experience in M&A transactions, commercial, and corporate matters at a law firm or in-house legal departmentForeign language skills and/or international experience a plusWillingness and ability to travel domestically and internationallyWe Have
