Senior Compensation ConsultantOur client, a phenomenal management consulting and investment firm based in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to oversee and manage the implementation and communication of compensation programs and policies.This role offers a hybrid work environment (combining work-from-home and in-office days). The ideal candidate will have experience in compensation administration, Workday as well as be detail-oriented with strong Excel skills.The role comes with the chance to be a part of a phenomenal team.Role Overview:Support the year-end compensation process, including project management, stakeholder communication, and analytics.Lead and manage Workday Advanced Compensation activities during the year-end cycle.Participate in and analyze annual salary surveys, maintaining and using data to support compensation decisions.Design, develop, and test compensation-related tools in Workday, Xactly, and Excel.Perform daily compensation administration tasks, such as benchmarking, maintaining compensation bands, and conducting market analyses.Maintain and update the job description library and oversee the salary survey database, recommending improvements to job evaluation processes.Assist in the creation and maintenance of salary programs, including structures, merit guidelines, and incentives.Support compensation-related projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Requirements:At least 5 years of experience in a compensation-focused analytical/quantitative consulting role, preferably in finance or professional services.Strong expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation and experience in successful year-end reward cycle management.Proven ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines (Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, etc.) and present to senior leaders.Advanced Excel skills, with hands-on experience in configuring and maintaining systems like Workday and Tableau.Demonstrated proficiency in creating business-focused presentations for senior leaders using PowerPoint and Excel.Strong time management, ability to manage competing priorities, and excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to present complex ideas to leaders unfamiliar with emerging HR practices.Highly self-motivated with exceptional analytical, problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.
