Job Summary:

Lockton Companies is looking to add a Content Strategist to support our US-based, Global People Solutions Practice with its external and internal content strategy and execution to achieve Lockton business objectives. The Content Strategist will work with the People Solutions business and Lockton marketing teams to develop, coordinate, and support external and internal content that appeals to multinational employers, while ensuring consistent message delivery.

The Content Strategist will enable faster innovation, development, and delivery of content to both internal and external audiences and serve as a dedicated resource to ensure Global People Solutions content is meeting all those objectives above. This position will assist in the improvement of the content development process, explore innovations for increased efficiency, and collaborate across disciplines, geographies, and/or lines of business, as needed. They will also apply content across Lockton’s multiple channels and platforms, including newsletters, websites, social media, and more.

Responsibilities:

Develop, coordinate, and execute content strategies by providing content messaging, coordinating with team members, managing content related department deadlines, and communicating with key stakeholdersDevelop, coordinate, and support content strategy and internal education execution for multiple stakeholders, including Lockton Practices, Series, Associates and ProducersOrganize content and optimize the user journey to content locationsQuickly update content and collateral and remove old/outdated materialsPublish and maintain an effective library of standardized RFI responsesEnsure education materials are promptly updated and sharedSupport how multiple Global People Solutions presents and contributes to intellectual capitalPerform writing, copywriting, editing, and proofing of internal and external materials across multiple platformsTranslate content into multiple formats for publication across internal and external platformsMaintain precise messaging and branding consistency across online platformsCompile competitive information and industry best practicesPrioritize and complete special projects as assignMeet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for othersAll work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and /or targets establishedRequirements:

Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, information management or sciences or related fieldMinimum 5 years' experience in any of the fields noted abovePrevious experience working for a large, multinational employer highly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a cross-functional team that would include collaboration with IT support and company's marketing teamsAbility to excel in a detail-oriented, deadline-driven environmentAbility to prioritize tasks while maintaining constant level of high qualityExcellent project management, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to complete continuing education requirements as neededAbility to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessionsAbility to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company informationAbility to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlinesAbility to use office equipment and Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) or similar software applications.Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of timeAbility to work outside of normal business hours as neededLegally able to work in the United States and not require sponsorship by our company now or in the future
