US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a secret clearance is required.The Laborer performs general services tasks that require mainly physical abilities and effort.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products manually or by mechanized means.* Transfers finished products and raw materials about plant and warehouse, using hand truck.* Delivers production items to designated work areas for processing.* Delivers processed units to storage or for the next stage of processing.* Packs products in containers.* Cleans around work areas, using broom and other appropriate tools* Assists other production workers in production activities.* Assists in final assembly of projects* May travel to vendor locations for pickup or delivery of parts and equipment or to obtain other goods and services* Take inventory and organize hardware* Other duties as assignedREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE* Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance* Able to follow verbal and written instructions* Physically fit to perform general labor duties* Possess a valid drivers licenseYEARS OF EXPERIENCE:* 0-1 year of relevant experienceEDUCATION:* High School Diploma or equivalentPHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTSThis position combines some office and shop/outside work.
