Job Summary

Administers the document lifecycle for engineering and construction documents. Responsible for defining standards and workflows for document. Manages document processes and systems to ensure control and availability. Provides training on documentation and record retention policies, procedures and instructions/support to end users.

Key Responsibilities include:

Assists with roll-out of new project folder structure for all active capital projects.Maintains document control plan and related policies and procedures.Administers the document lifecycle (authors, approves, publishes, revises, retires, archives) for engineering and construction documents, including drawings, correspondence, procedures, and forms.Ensures key electronic project records are filed per document control plan for each phase of the project: planning/design, procurement and construction.Prepares electronic document templates and creates folder structures as required.Prepares records for inactive storage according to the records retention schedule.Assists with purging records as required per the Records retention schedule.Manages document processes and systems to ensure control and availability of documentation to site personnel. Reviews new and revised documentation for suitability and conformance to client standards including naming convention and file storage location.Performs and/or supports regular audits of document control processes and procedures.Provides training on documentation and record retention policies and procedures and support to end users.Performs other duties as assigned.Education & Additional Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business2 years related experienceIn lieu of education, 6 years project controls, document control, and/or technical administrative support experienceExperience with electronic file management systemsExperience in engineering and construction industry
