This position has a hybrid/remote work arrangement. The candidate for this position will reside in the greater San Diego area.

How You Will Make an Impact

The Recruiter will perform full lifecycle recruiting and provide the highest level of talent acquisition services for the organization and clients. This Position will assist Hiring Managers in proactively locating the best possible candidate pool to fill positions and to ensure quality candidates are available in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.Perform administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting (job posting, application screening, interview scheduling, candidate selection review, job offer and start)Work with hiring managers to fill open positions within designated time periodsMaintain the applicant tracking systemReview, process, and track Hiring RequisitionsMaintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough auditPlace job advertisements and close job postings following requisition timelineLeverage online recruiting resources to identify and recruit candidatesMaintain online recruiting resources with current organization branding/logo, contact information, benefits, non-discrimination noticeProvide complete, accurate, and inspiring information about the Organization, clients and the position to candidates (include Department background, job description, and expectation-setting)Prescreen applicants; prepare and issue eligibility listsCreate, enhance and present prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approvalProvide Hiring Managers with guidance and support on interviewing proceduresHandle scheduling and logistics of interviews between candidates and hiring managersOrganize and document post-interview debrief/feedback with interview teams and candidatesAssist management with revisions and updates to recruitment operating proceduresSend notifications of non-selection to non-selected candidatesExtend offers of employment to selected candidates within the guidelines of the Organizations approved compensation schedulesParticipate in job fairs and industry related career events; coordinate events with hiring managersDevelop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates including colleges and universitiesDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with Organizational leadership, hiring managers, vendorsInteract with People Services team members to support pre-employment and onboardingStay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniquesStay informed of general organizational and client programs and people initiativesHandle sensitive and confidential information appropriatelyParticipate in meetings and trainingsAdministrative duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned or changed from time to timeQualifications

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:

Understanding of Human Resources principles and practicesKnowledge of State employment and labor lawsKnowledgeable in full lifecycle recruiting components including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, relationship management, and due diligenceHigh attention to detailOrganizational, planning, and time management skillsEffective communication approaches; appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and in written formPossess effective internal and external customer relations and customer service skillsAbility to handle competing priorities, multiple tasks, and frequent deadlines while being extremely adaptable and flexibleAbility to learn and use new technologies to support work responsibilitiesPossess a high sense of urgencyStrong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills Self-sufficient and focused on excellent customer serviceMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of High School Diploma3 years of professional recruiting experience or Human Resources experienceDemonstrated experience recruiting for a broad range of positions and on a regional, multi-location levelProficient in using recruiting software applications and HRIS systemsExperience using social media tools in job advertising capacitiesSkills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or other specific technologyTRAVEL : Ability to travel in performance of job duties is required
