Position Summary:

LinQuest is seeking an Action Officer to provide Director's Action Group (DAG) support in accordance with established organization/office policies, regulations, and procedures in Chantilly, VA.

The Action Officer directs and oversees the receipt, tasking, tracking and closure of all internal and external tasks•. The Action Officer manages the action tracking system. The Action Officer establishes and maintains effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the Directorate/Office both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities :Perform and maintain DAG support functions to include recognition programs, training, securityManage NRO Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) actions for supported office:

Analyze TlERs to route for appropriate completionMonitor and reporting completion progress for managed TlERsCoordinate responses and assess for accuracyProvide consolidated responses to Senior Management for reviewComplete assigned TIERs using provided instructionsDevelop written Standard Operating Procedures for the TIER processGenerate TIER and related metricsPrepare periodic reports, as requiredProvide status updates on new, pending, and late actions

Analyze and assign or perform actions as appropriateCoordinate responses and assess for accuracy prior to senior management reviewManage and execute the action tracking process; develop standard operating procedures- and serve as facilitator for user requirementsMonitor progress on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic rep011s on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending and new actionsDisseminate policy and legislative changes to appropriate parties internal to the NRODraft, proofread, edit and provide final review of internal and external correspondenceCoordinate and maintain presentations for audiences up to the NRO level; maintain a quality control process for all presentationsParticipate in DAG related meetingsParticipate in internal committees, Integrated Process Teams (IPT), working groups and task forcesManage records generated during the execution of the Directorates' projects and programs in accordance with Federal laws and regulations, as well as NRO Directives and Instructions.Create and assist in the preparation and development of reports, briefings and presentations for various audiencesAssist with event planning, attend and facilitate meetings, workshops, conferences and working group sessions, track status and milestones, and provide summary of meetings and meeting minutes when requested.Required Skills and Experience:

10+ years of experience within any Government OR target 5 years within IC or DoDBachelor's Degree in a Technical OR Business-related discipline (Advanced degree preferred)Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: federal acquisitions, Department of Defense (DoD) or the /Intelligence Community (IC) budget & finance processes, and National Security policyDemonstrated experience in systems engineering or project/program management or bothDemonstrated experience working with senior executives at multiple organizational levelsDemonstrated experience using Microsoft Office and standard computer applicationsDemonstrated experience adapting to a rapidly changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and versatilityDemonstrated experience fostering solid relationships that promote cooperation and communicate expectationsDemonstrated experience analyzing situations and make well informed decisionsDemonstrated experience communicating effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audienceDemonstrated ability in oral and written communication skills sufficient to compose and deliver clear and concise responsesThe ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF)TS/SCI CI Poly clearance is required for this position.
