Recruiter .

The Recruiter applies practical knowledge and performs activities in their area of focus, works independently with general supervision. The Recruiter is responsible for achieving staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and managing the requisition to hire process.

Responsibilities

Follows established recruiting requirements based on the organizations plans and objectives and meets with managers to discuss needsBuilds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media sites and job boardsDetermines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job requirements (qualifications)Attracts applicants by placing job requisitions (advertisements), contacting potential candidates to gauge interest and utilizing network contacts to generate leadsDetermines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirementsArranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranging travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicants to interviews; and arranging tours (when appropriate)Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviews applicants on a consistent set of qualificationsImproves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices (and trends); and emphasizing benefits and perksAvoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managersUpdates job knowledge by participating in education opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizationsApply critical thinking to solve customer or operational requirementsPerform tasks and applies knowledge of principles and methods necessary to meet operational requirementsInterpret and explain products and/or processesReview and analyze dataPrepare or maintain recordsOther functions as neededQualifications

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.Must be able to commute to Hilltop Plaza @ 6565 Hillcrest Avenue, Dallas, 75205, without the need for relocation assistance.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Degree preferred in relevant discipline1-3 years related experienceAbility to maintain professionalism and represent the company by ensuring positive interactionsStrong organization, coordination and follow up skillsFamiliarity and demonstrated knowledge regarding relevant employment laws related to recruitingSupports workplace diversityComputer hardware, operating system (Windows or Mac) and software/application (MS Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook etc.) skills
