MAG is looking for a Network Software Developer. You will play a key role in crafting advanced software for a cutting-edge synthetic training environment. Your work will be seamlessly integrated into flight simulators, enhancing pilot training by simulating potential threats. Your responsibilities will span software development, integration, customer training, and engaging demonstrations. ***Must be a US citizen with a current DoD Secret security clearance*** Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but not limited to: Evaluate and review C++ language code Programming using C++, Python 3, HTML Develop Parallel processes, threading, process communication Develop Web-based applications using development technology Collaborate with team members to design future enhancements Familiarity with time-series analysis a plus

Requirements: Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Skills The required skills and knowledge include: Sockets (unicast, multicast, TCP) and general network programming, including byte-swapping and serialization of data. Scripting, database, and programming languages such C++. Experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) efforts. The minimum years of related experience required: Three (3) years of related experience Education The minimum level of education required is: BS in Computer Science or Engineering Desired Requirements The desired skills, knowledge, and education include: Understanding of network protocols, such as Data Distributions Service (DDS), High-Level Architecture (HLA), and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS). Experience with scripting, database, and programming in Python 3, and HTML. Other Qualifications Outside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include: Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance Special Note: The position is contingent upon candidates ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
