United Medical Park and Prairie Parkway offer outpatient care in facilities that are built for your comfort and convenience.Part time opportunity to work with the Wound clinic teamFlexible work schedule-no weekends, holidays, or callWork collaboratively with specialty trained wound care NP, Physician, and Nurse to ensure continuity of careTriage, assessment, and coordination of care for patients with specific wound care conditions in an outpatient hospital setting.Future expansion of wound care programFully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordinationResponsibilities:

Our providers treat high acuity wounds of varying etiologies and complexitiesApply clinical knowledge to improved patient outcomes and rapid wound resolution, Ostomy care, and skin checksNew patient consultations, follow up evaluations, procedures, and collaboration with specialtiesDevelop plan of care, education, make referrals, and recommendations to improve healing outcomesAverage patient encounters per day 20-25Potential travel to Marshalltown to cover PTO in Would Healing Center on limited basisWill be trained in common treatments included but not limited to: negative pressure wound therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, compression, debridement, diabetic wounds, ulcers, infections, wound vacs, and venous insufficiencies.Qualifications:
