POSITIONSUMMARY:

This position reports to the Enrollment Operations Manager in theEnrollment Operations and Student Services department and supports theadministrative functions within Enrollment Management. Thisemployee will be expected to perform a number of vital roles based on thegraduate and undergraduate admission cycle. Taskswill include, but are not limited to, managing the application and admissioncredential process for graduate admissions, undergraduate admissions, andfinancial aid; mail receipt and sorting, scanning and indexing documents, anddata-entry. Thisindividual is responsible for the performance of advanced assignments andspecial projects in support of the Enrollment Management Group.Administrative work requiring initiative and independent judgement. Maintenanceof confidential information while ensuring the efficient operation of theoffice of Enrollment Management.

DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enters inquiryand application data, scans and indexes confidential materials through thesystems, ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of all data entryinformation processed for graduate admissions. Coordinates the receipt andreview of academic credentials for graduate and undergraduate admissionapplicants.Assists with theoptimization and administration of the enrollment systems, including, but notlimited to Technolutions Slate and Ellucian Banner.Liaison withGraduate Admissions for the Enrollment Operations and Student Servicesdepartment. Researches and resolves graduate processing issues within Slate.Provides assistance withinquiry and application data entry and related tasks for undergraduateadmissions and financial aid. Supports operational and processing effectivenessfor the entire enrollment division (Undergraduate Admissions, GraduateAdmissions, Financial Aid, Enrollment Marketing and Communications, Militaryand Veterans Services).Helps manage and administer system requests on a dailybasis for all aspects of enrollment management.Participates in special admissionevents, such as DUQ days and Accepted Student Days.Performsother related duties as assigned to support the functions of a dynamic, team-orientedenvironment.

REQUIREMENTS:Minimum qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of experiencein admissions or student services at the college/university level or closelyrelated environment dealing with the public.

Preferred qualifications:

Associate's degree in business or related field.

1-3 years' workrelated experience.

Knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office Software;familiarity with Slate and Banner preferred.Alternately, thesuccessful candidate may possess any equivalent combination of experience andtraining, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required toperform the essential job functions. This includes, but is not limited to, thefollowing:

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Attention to detail and accuracy while multi-tasking.

Strong organization skills.

Data entry, scanning and indexing.

Ability to make decisions in accordance withestablished policies.

Ability to be proactive, strategic anddeadline-oriented in a complex organization.

Ability to work overtime and some weekends during peakapplication receipt and processing periods.
