7a-7pAbout Us5 South is a 16-bed complex surgical oncology unit caring for complex pre- and post-operative surgical oncology and plastics patients. This unit has all private rooms.UofL Hospital, a 404-bed academic teaching and research hospital, is at the heart of the Louisville Metro area in downtown Louisville. UofL Hospital offers a second-to-none cancer center, world-renowned trauma team and a uniquely streamlined, nationally accredited stroke centerthe latest innovations in a history of world-class care. Qualifications:Required QualificationsActive Kentucky registered nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in KentuckyAssociate degree in nursing from an accredited college or universityBasic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)One (1) year of patient care experience in specialty areaAll new-hire Associate degree registered nurses (new graduate and experienced) are required to start an approved BSN program within one (1) year of hire and complete an approved BSN program within three (3) years of hire.
