Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Mid-Level Information System Security Engineer to join in supporting a critical mission in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role is essential in a program that delivers a broad array of capabilities, including data management, data delivery, high-intensity cloud architectures, and analytic platforms.Responsibilities:Conduct or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities, and non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies.Provide comprehensive security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.Design system or network configurations that support multiple enclaves, including those with varying data protection/classification requirements.Recommend system-level solutions to meet security requirements.Support the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.RequirementsBasic Qualifications:
Fourteen (14) years of experience as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level 2.CISSP Certification is requiredBenefits
