Job Description

We are looking for a Senior AEM Developer responsible for supporting our Adobe AEM platform and developing enterprise-level digital experiences. This role's primary responsibility will be to oversee every part of the AEM tech stack and to design/develop all layers of our applications. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product delivery is essential.

Key Accountabilities

Design, develop, and maintain websites and custom applications for the Adobe AEM platformWork with other developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.Follow web standards, governance, and provide input and oversight regarding applications development and change management methodologies.Align site design with industry standards, best practices, device and browser supportDevelop positive customer relationships which make it possible to influence positive change and contribute to collaboration in defining and implementing IT solutions.Actively manage our AEM environments to ensure a healthy and resilient systemDiagnose and solve technical problems related to all our AEM environments and the components that run on themModernize and update legacy applications.Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field5+ years experience with web application development (front and backend)3+ years of experience with AEM Sites and Assets version 6 or aboveExperience with custom component and servlet developmentDeep knowledge of the AEM filesystem, node types, and package managerFamiliarity with the AEM archetypes, core components, and ACS CommonsGood understanding of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing / deployment, and delivery processes.Comfortable with Linux and Apache web server for AEM Dispatcher configurationExperience with Cloud Manager and AEM as a Cloud ServiceUnderstanding of the internal AEM APIs and query builderStrong Web technology skill set, such as HTML, CSS, Java Script, Bootstrap, and AngularHands-on experience with the Azure cloud platform and related devOps process and automation / AWS experience is a plusCapabilities and Success Factors
