Must possess the following skills: a working knowledge of common Microsoft applications (Windows, Word, Excel); an eagerness to assist others; and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. Additionally, skills in the following areas are desired: Windows 10; Windows Server; IP Protocol; and Telecommunications/Remote Access. Provide technical support to other THA departments in the PC and network related problems. Assist in the operations and maintenance of the organizations LAN servers and workstations.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Manage incoming trouble requests via phone, email, and helpdesk system.Complete trouble requests as assigned.Assist with paperwork relating to purchasing new equipment.Troubleshoot and repair existing desktop computer systems, printers, etc.Walk end-users through the recommended problem-solving steps.Troubleshoot network problems, including remote communications. Troubleshooting may involve working closely with one of THAs Partners (e.g. Cox) to determine where issue(s) exist.Deploy new computer equipment to end-users. Equipment may include desktop computers, monitors, printers, mice, keyboards, and other technology peripherals.Transport computer equipment from one facility to another, utilizing company vehicles.Install authorized applications, software and files on desktop computersAssist in investigating and implementing new technologies into THA's current infrastructure.Assist in monitoring health of the network, including maintaining and upgrading hardware and isolating bandwidth bottlenecks.Assist in administration of telephone system.Other duties as assigned**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**The position requires a minimum of a High School diploma or GED; and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
